Choose the right size
1- Skis that are your height: will perform the same on groomers and in powder.
2- Skis shorter than you: will be more playful, lively, and more naturally geared to skiing on piste.
3- Skis taller than you: will provide increased surface area, more float, and will maximize performance off-piste, and of course reduce maneuverability on piste.
Example of a 180cm tall skier who is looking for a versatile ski:
- Choose a DII N 179 if you plan to ski a good mix of groomed runs/powder.
- Choose a DII N 189 if you plan to primarily ski off-piste, while maintaining the ability to continue to arc turns on groomers.
- Choose a DII N 169 if you plan to primarily ski short radius quick edge-to-edge turns on groomed runs.
